Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Planner for Aircraft Services. You will help establish project flow, prepare work packages, and coordinate with Maintenance, Material Support, and other teams to meet customer requirements.

The role requires 2 years in aircraft maintenance, strong planning skills, and capability to work with SAP, Maximo, and Pivotal. This is a hybrid/onsite position with benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

2 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance environment.
Computer skills to operate word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and e-mail.
Ability to coordinate with customers and other departments to meet requirements.
Strong planning and organizational abilities to prioritize workloads in multi-project settings.

Responsibilities

Adhere to General Work Requirements.
Research and administer programs such as warranty, Smart Parts, open delivery items.
Work with customers to clarify requirements to meet expectations.
Create project flow charts and management tools for aircraft visits.
Determine resource availability and coordinate with providers on issues affecting the Master Schedule.
Create aircraft work packages with material, tooling and manpower needs prior to induction.
Attend customer debrief or pre-induct before aircraft arrival.
Input data into systems as required.
Maintain and develop model-specific technical information (airframe, engine, avionics, paint/interior).
Coordinate with Maintenance, Material Support, Labs, Vendors, and Line Service for data to invoice.
