Position Summary
The Aircraft RecordsSpecialistperformsmultiple levelsofscheduling maintenance of assignedaircraft and associatedaircraftin accordance withapplicable instructions, technical orders, and commercial maintenance programs.This role developslogisticsscheduling documents ensuringthe successful accomplishment of all requirements.The role supports Dynamic Aviation remote bases and thecorporatemaintenance officeonmultipleaircrafttypes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages, and coordinates maintenance program with program managers, planning, the customer and other depts to ensure on time input/return of aircraft from heavy maintenance.
- Manages, develops, and schedules in theERP systemthe inspection and work packages for major, intermediate level, and scheduled inspections
- Ensures logbook entries are completed with accuracy and efficiencyand presented to quality control
- Develops operational and maintenance scheduling requirements for all assignedaircraft,andengines intoshort andlong range, quarterly, monthly,weekly,and daily plans;forecastingknown requirements to meet all scheduled maintenance and inspection requirements
- Updatesand coordinates daily and weekly maintenance schedulesand conductsaircraftrecord reviews andmaintainsaircrafthistorical recordsin accordance withapplicable instructions
- Manages, and performs configuration management;validatessuspense andverifiescorrect parts are installed in the proper configuration on assignedaircraft
- Manages,tracks,andcoordinatestheairworthiness directive(AD)and service bulletin(SB)programs
- Providestechnical operationswithaircraftmaintenance paperworkusing MS Office suite
- Extractsaircraftdata from historicalaircraftdata to baselineaircraftmaintenancefor senior leadership
- Managesallaircraftrecordsin accordance withCFR 43.9 andrequirementsset forth inDynamic Aviation’s 145 RepairStation Manualsand AS9100D
- Maintains/reviewsAircraftlogbooks; receives, transfers, inspects, files, and updates active and inactive historical documents for assignedaircraft
- Research life limited parts data toestablishtimes onaircraftparts and enters the parts data into current ERP System
- Verifiescorrect flying hour data is correctly accounted forandupdatedin the ERP system
- Maintains aircraft specific technical manuals, publications and reference libraries
- Manages subscriptions and access to aviation maintenance documentation and technical data systems
- Coordinates updates and distribution of technical publications to support regulatory compliance and operational readiness
- Otherduties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Mustpossessstrong oral and written communication skills andbecapable of working in an exceptionally dynamicmaintenance schedulingenvironment
- Demonstrates ability to work effectively with complex details and high attention to detail
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations
- Previousexperience andproficiencywith MS Office suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to recognize process or equipment deviationsfrom expected performance or output
- Ability to fully understand manufacturer’s maintenance program(s);translatingto ourfleet ofaircraft

- Passport or work authorization requirements to work in the U.S.
Working Conditions
- Monday-Friday, hours are either 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and operating office equipment
- Ability to view computer screens for extended periods, with close vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Pay Band: $16.08-$25.96 per hour. Starting pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity, and typically falls between the minimum and midpoint of the pay range.
