Job summary

Textron Aviation in Kansas is seeking an Aircraft Quality Technician for flight line operations on the 2nd shift. The role focuses on developing processes to create a quality conscious environment and reduce defects, working under supervision.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and engineering requirements, inspecting parts to ensure conformance, completing inspection paperwork, and communicating with FAA or customers. Prior MRB experience and relevant certifications are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Requires 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possesses certification/qualifications appropriate to assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and engineering requirements.
• Knowledge of specifications, quality procedures and FT requirements.
• Inspect parts for appearance, function, tolerances, dimensions.
• Complete and maintain inspection paperwork.
• Interpret and implement new model engineering changes.
• Understand and work MRB process.
• Proficient in business applications relevant to the area.
• Communicate with the FAA or other external auditors and customers.
• Possess certification/qualifications appropriate to assigned area.
• Communicate effectively and work well with others.
• Perform flight release inspections to deem aircraft safe for flight.
• Interface with customer representatives on technical topics.
• Operate in a safety sensitive repair station environment.
