Job Description

• Execute technical inspections in the production process of aircraft in the context of the authorization of manufacturer operation.
• Prepare and perform visual, incoming, first article, and final inspections during aircraft manufacture for compliance with design specifications, customer requirements, and certification standards.
• Document the technical inspections performed in the production orders SAP-based and SAL-based IT systems, including inspection reports and aircraft documentation.
• Support troubleshooting and participate in Quality Survey requests.
• Compile all technical data of non-conformance to initiate SAP-based quality discrepancy sheets for professional assessment, in accordance with manufacturing engineering documentation.
• Record all inspection results in the SAP-based IT system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred: 3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in an international aviation company or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• Understanding of drawing systems, inspection plans, and inspection coordination.
• Familiarity with principles, practices, methods, and tools used in production lines.
• Proficiency with inspection tools (mechanical, optical, electrical).
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Preferred: FAA Airframe & Powerplant License including inspection authorization.
• Airline experience is desirable.
• Willingness to be hired under Segula Technologies and work at our client’s location in Mobile, Alabama.
