Job summary

Cutter Aviation in Addison, TX is seeking a Quality Control/Floor Inspector to assist the Chief Inspector and support the Repair Station operations. This role reports directly to the Chief Inspector and focuses on ensuring quality and safety of our aircraft.

You will perform floor inspections, review discrepancies, assist with log book research, and help return aircraft to service. A professional appearance and the ability to work with a team are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have an FAA approved Airframe and Power Plant license.
• Ability to work with several individuals while balancing and prioritizing requests.
• Ability to understand technical publications and requirements.
• Clear understanding of FAA and Repair Station requirements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Professional in appearance and mannerisms.
• Able to develop a friendly rapport.
• Sincere desire to assist others.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Inspector with floor inspection items. Giving the “ok to close panels” and being the “backup” to ensure quality and safety of our products.
• Inspecting discrepancies once completed for proper repairs, correct paperwork, and correct sign-off of discrepancies. (Make sure accepted or approved procedures are used at all times.)
• Perform aircraft inspections when not inspecting discrepancies or work orders.
• Assist the Chief Inspector with log book research as required.
• Assist the Chief Inspector with returning aircraft to service after work is completed. Ensure that we are delivering a safe aircraft that meets our quality standards.
• Work efficiently with the team to ensure a smooth work flow.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work space.
• Other duties as assigned.
