Job summary

Insight Global in Greenville, TX is seeking multiple Aircraft Primary Structures Mechanical Design Engineers to support a large-scale aircraft modification program on a Bombardier Global 6500 platform.

You will design primary and secondary aircraft structures, develop detailed, assembly, and installation drawings using Siemens NX, and ensure weight and airworthiness requirements are met while coordinating with Stress Analysis, Systems Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or related Engineering discipline.
• 6+ years of aircraft structural design experience.
• Experience designing primary and secondary aircraft structures.
• Ability to obtain a clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and release detail, assembly, and installation drawings using Siemens NX.
• Design primary and secondary aircraft structures for large-scale modifications.
• Collaborate with Stress Analysis, Systems Engineering, Weight & Balance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
• Mentor junior engineers on a high-visibility weight-critical program.
