Textron Aviation Kansas is hiring an Aircraft Parts Painter to prepare and spray paint aircraft parts across various shifts. You will handle prep, masking, priming, and quality checks to ensure flawless finishes.

Ideal candidates have a high school level of education and familiarity with polyurethane paints, chromium compounds, and other coatings. A strong eye for detail and the ability to read paint are beneficial, with a comprehensive total rewards package offered.

Qualifications

• High School education, GED, or a Bronze Level WorkKeys certification is required
• Experience using polyurethane, Hexamine chromium, and various types of paint is helpful
• Attention to detail and ability to read paint is helpful to ensure efficiency

Responsibilities

• Prepare and spray paint a variety of aircraft parts
• Check parts to ensure they are clean and not damaged before hand-sanding surfaces
• Mask and prime, spray or dip paint, and inspect finished parts before baking in oven
