A leading aviation manufacturer in Kansas is seeking an Aircraft Parts Painter B for the 2nd shift. In this role, you'll prepare and spray paint a variety of aircraft parts, ensuring they are clean and correctly prepared before application. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of manufacturing spray painting experience. • High School education, GED, or a Bronze Level WorkKeys certification is required.
• At least one year of manufacturing spray painting or related experience is required.
• Experience using various types of paint is helpful.
• Attention to detail and ability to read paint (i.e. wet, dry, blotchy) is helpful to ensure efficiency.

Responsabilités

Responsibilities

• You can expect to prepare, and spray paint a variety of aircraft parts. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
• Preparation of aircraft parts:
• Check parts to ensure they are clean and not damaged before hand-sanding the surfaces for a smooth surface before masking and priming
• Select and adjust spray gun per the instructions while mixing paint according to the specifications
• Painting various aircraft parts:
• Use painting techniques (i.e. spray paint, dip paint) to coat all crevices of aircraft parts with primer or paint based on specifications
• Carefully inspect parts to ensure no dirt, dust, or other foreign objects appear in paintwork before baking in oven

What you need to be successful

• High School education, GED, or a Bronze Level WorkKeys certification is required
• At least one year of manufacturing spray painting or related experience is required
• Experience using polyurethane, Hexamine chromium, and various types of paint is helpful
• Attention to detail and ability to read paint (i.e. wet, dry, blotchy) is helpful to ensure efficiency

• $3,000 annual lump sum payment eligibility per contract
