Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is seeking an Inventory/Parts Administrator to oversee the Parts Department, ensuring accurate rotable and consumable parts inventory and 24/7 coverage for maintenance needs.

The role requires strong teamwork, excellent communication, and solid organizational skills. Candidates should be able to work unsupervised, maintain high safety standards, and interact effectively with maintenance teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of company manuals, policies, and procedures related to inventory management for Maintenance Base operations and associated departments.
• Ensures proper inventory levels of rotable and consumable parts in accordance with policies and requirements.
• Oversees Parts Department operations and ensures duties of Parts Clerks are performed per standards.
• Provides and maintains 24/7 coverage of Parts operations to support maintenance activities.
• Ensures rotable parts are shipped to outside vendors or in-house shops for repairs.
• Accounts for total inventory value and maintains accurate counts of rotable and consumable parts.
• Monitors inventory accuracy, fill rates, and turn times.
• Communicates with maintenance base shops to expedite processing and return of parts to stock.
• Writes clearly and develops standard practices.
• Exhibits good judgment when working with people.
