Job summary

Republic Airways is seeking a Materials Handler to maintain, ship, and track aircraft parts and materials for maintenance operations in a busy hangar environment. You will issue and deliver parts, verify shipments, perform cycle counts, and ensure proper storage, labeling, and compliance with hazardous materials regulations.

Must lift up to 50 lbs and travel as required. Experience with a computer tracking system and basic MS Office is preferred; training provided for FAA and shelf-life

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass HAZMAT/Dangerous Goods Handling course.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to travel for training.
• Customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Accurately issues and/or delivers parts and materials to various departments.
• Uses the computer tracking system to locate and track parts/materials for maintenance.
• Performs shipping of hazardous/non-hazardous materials by air and other methods.
• Receives and inspects parts and materials; logs information in the system.
• Maintains organized stockroom; ensures shelving and labeling per policy and shelf life rules.
• Executes cycle counts and reports discrepancies; supports FAA and internal audits.
