Job summary

Velocity Aerospace Group Inc. seeks a dependable Painter and Surface Prep Technician in Burbank, CA. Responsibilities include sanding, masking, mixing paints, and applying coatings to aircraft components.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sanding and painting experience.
• Experience mixing paint with catalysts.
• Experience using painting equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft components for painting by sanding, cleaning, masking, and surface preparation.
• Mix paints and catalysts according to manufacturer specifications.
• Apply primers and topcoats to repaired aircraft components.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality and consistency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Properly handle paints, solvents, and related materials.
• Work with production and repair teams to meet quality standards and delivery schedules.
• Follow company procedures and safety requirements.
