Job summary

Boeing in Tulsa, OK, is seeking team members to support Spirit AeroSystems operations for aircraft component painting and finishing. You will read blueprints, set up paint equipment, operate ovens, and ensure safety and quality while supporting continuous improvement.

The role is union-represented and requires willingness to work any shift. Pay starts at $20.00/hour with opportunities to earn up to $32.69/hour under the collective bargaining agreement; benefits and training are provided per

• Must be willing and able to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Move and/or obtain correct parts, materials, and tools as directed by management.
• Use of precision measuring instruments to accomplish tasks.
• Navigate electronic systems required by the position; training provided as needed.
• Work safely and maintain a safe work environment following company rules.
• Train, coach and assist fellow employees when requested.
• Maintain and utilize required personal certifications and qualifications.
• Ensure equipment and tool certification occurs per procedure.
• Report handicaps such as errors in parts, procedures, tools or sequences.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications and related documents.
• Set up and operate chern-mill processing equipment for metal parts processing.
• Operate ovens/furnaces and quenching tanks for heat treating metal parts.
• Set up and operate anodizing and electroplating processes; manage dips and rinses.
• Operate paint spraying equipment or dipping/rolling/ brushing for coatings.
• Thin and mix paints and other coating materials.
• Operate robotic spray coating equipment and manage coatings application.
• Apply finish coats with care to avoid runs and ensure uniform thickness.
• Operate robotic spray coating for radar-absorptive materials.
• Perform rework and touch-up as tests indicate.
• Record manufacturing data manually or via computer systems.
