Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mask, sand, clean, strip, and paint aircraft surfaces and components using approved tools, chemicals, and equipment.
• Mix, thin, apply, and inspect paints, primers, sealants, and corrosion-prevention materials according to specifications.
• Perform brush cadmium plating and passivation processes in accordance with engineering, OEM, and aerospace standards.
• Monitor paint and finishing work for defects and make corrections as needed.
• Coordinate with supervision and inspection teams to ensure FAA documentation and quality compliance.
• Clean, maintain, disassemble, and reassemble paint equipment and related shop gear.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter for a direct hire opportunity in Titusville, FL. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented aviation refinishing professional with hands‑on experience preparing, painting, finishing, and inspecting aircraft surfaces in a safety-focused environment.

The Aircraft Painter will work with specialized tools, coatings, sealants, corrosion‑prevention materials, and surface treatment processes to produce high‑quality finishes that meet internal, FAA, OEM, and engineering requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, mask, sand, clean, strip, and paint aircraft surfaces and components using approved tools, chemicals, and equipment.
• Mix, thin, apply, and inspect paints, primers, sealants, and corrosion‑prevention materials according to specifications.
• Perform brush cadmium plating and passivation processes in accordance with engineering, OEM, and aerospace standards.
• Monitor paint and finishing work for defects such as streaks, blisters, adhesion issues, or coverage problems, and make corrections as needed.
• Coordinate with supervision and inspection teams to ensure accurate FAA documentation, internal signoffs, and quality compliance.
• Clean, maintain, disassemble, and reassemble paint equipment, sprayers, tools, ventilators, and related shop equipment.
