Job description

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Airframe license preferred but not required
• Two (2) years of finish coat experience in automotive or aircraft painting
• Understanding and working knowledge of hazardous material handling and disposal related to the job
• Basic understanding of FAA regulations pertaining to FAR part 145 repair station operations
• Possession of minimum required tools
• Ability to obtain airport SIDA badge
• Flexible working hours including nights, weekends, and overtime

Major Responsibilities and Duties

• Follow verbal or written instructions
• Refinish aircraft, aircraft parts, and other items as assigned
• Maintain paint spraying equipment according to manufacturer's instructions
• Mix materials used in the paint process

Physical Requirements

• Climb and work from ladders, work stands, and heights
• Sit, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Hear at conversational level with hearing aid
• Correctable near and far vision
