Job summary

Kenmore Air Harbor is seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to join our maintenance and restoration team in Kenmore, WA. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring precision and a pride in a flawless finish on iconic aircraft.

You will prepare surfaces, apply coatings, mix paints to specification, inspect work, and ensure FAA compliance and safety standards. The right candidate has at least two years of painting experience and a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in aircraft, automotive, or industrial painting.
  • Proficiency with spray equipment and surface preparation techniques.
  • Knowledge of paint mixing, application, and finishing methods.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols including PPE, ventilation, and hazardous materials handling.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality of finish.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming
  • Apply paint, coatings, and finishes to aircraft exteriors and interior components using spray equipment and other application methods
  • Mix, match, and blend paints and coatings to specification
  • Inspect finished work for quality, coverage, and compliance with drawings and customer requirements
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations and company safety standards
  • Document work performed in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain spray equipment and paint shop in clean, safe working order

Kenmore Air is seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to join our maintenance and restoration team. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, craftsmanship, and a commitment to quality in every coat. What You Will Do
