Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an F-35 Aircraft Operations Analyst for the MCAS Beaufort, SC support team. You will review aircraft production and fleet performance to identify anomalies and maximize fleet health, using ALIS to track history, maintenance, engine data and TCTDs.

You will debrief aircraft and aircrew, coordinate with the Maintenance Manager on schedules and issues, and train government personnel in Aircraft Debriefing and Maintenance Ops Center operations.

  • 8 years' experience working on or around an aircraft flightline.
  • Aircraft maintenance management knowledge and/or experience.
  • Experience with aircraft maintenance metrics.
  • Working knowledge with Aircraft Flying/Maintenance Debriefing process and the associated software.

Standard Job Description

You will be the F-35 Aircraft Operations Analyst for the MCAS Beaufort, South Carolina support team. Our team is responsible for supporting daily F-35 operations at MCAS Beaufort to aide the USMC be successful in all aspects of their F-35B operations. This position reviews aircraft production and fleet performance to identify anomalies and works to maximize fleet health.

What You Will Be Doing
  • As the F-35 Aircraft Operations Analyst you will impact everything from maintenance activities to historical aircraft performance. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
  • Use Fifth Generation aircraft management tools "Autonomic Logistics Information System" (ALIS) to track aircraft history, maintenance, engine data and Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTDs) and time change items.
  • Performs aircraft and aircrew debriefing.
  • Coordinates with Maintenance Manager on schedules, aircraft status and issues as they occur.
  • Provide On-The Job training to government personnel as it pertains to Aircraft Debriefing and Maintenance Ops Center operations.
  • Maintains accurate aircraft status boards and performs other duties as directed by the Manager.
  • Requires the application of experience and good judgment when dealing with customers.
  • Must possess at least an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain / maintain a Final Secret clearance. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

Desired Skills

The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:

  • 4 year degree in Aerospace field or STEM.
  • F-35 experience as prior service military
  • Experience working in maintenance management systems such as Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) for F35.
  • Technical report writing skills
  • Experience communicating to Military leadership teams and Senior Leaders.
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $65200.00 - $121200.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
