AVTECH Global is seeking an Aircraft Mechanical Engineer to join our Bridgewater, VA team. You will design, analyze, and refine aircraft mechanical systems, producing detailed drawings and collaborating across disciplines to ensure safety, reliability, and manufacturability.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of aviation design experience, proficiency in 3D modeling (SolidWorks), and the ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• MS Engineering or BSME/BSAE/BS Eng and 5–7 years aviation design experience.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Some knowledge of FAA guidelines, including Part 91, 135, 145.
• Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsabilités

• Prepare engineering data in accordance to customer specifications and aircraft SIRM.
• Adhere to FAA, customer, and company regulations in project design.
• Coordinate with other engineers, DERs and clients to insure timely project completion.
• Design structural modifications and repairs for aircraft to meet customer requirements.
• Perform engineering design evaluations.
• Conduct analysis from conceptual through design of aircraft structures and/or systems.
• Effectively communicate with co-workers and customers to ensure a quality product is delivered.
• Reviews reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
