Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Linthicum, MD is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic on the 2nd shift. Plan, perform and coordinate maintenance and servicing of aircraft and ground support equipment according to manuals and directives.

You will certify work, maintain FAA and military records, and provide tooling and equipment improvisation as needed. A high school diploma and an FAA A&P certificate are required, with 4 years of aviation experience and turbine engine work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• FAA Airframe and Power Plant certificate required.
• 4 years of aircraft mechanic experience in military, industrial, or commercial aviation.
• 3 years turbine engine experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform and coordinate maintenance and servicing of aircraft and ground support equipment.
• Certify all required work and ensure compliance with FAA/military regulations.
• Coordinate inspections, maintenance actions and testing to meet master schedules.
• Maintain accurate records, manuals and logs for aircraft per regulatory directives.
