As an Aircraft Mechanic, WG-8852-12, you will oversee maintenance of high-performance military aircraft, ensuring airworthiness, managing documentation, and conducting crucial training. Help Duties
As an Aircraft Mechanic, WG-8852-12, you will manage, monitor, or perform maintenance, servicing, inspections, and documentation for high-performance military aircraft. Ensure that Unit Level Logistics-Aviation (ULLS-A) and other aircraft documentation accurately reflect the status and airworthiness of the aircraft. Clear Red X status symbols on aircraft forms for work performed by others. Plan, develop, and conduct proficiency training during the technician work week for a workforce comprising Full Time Support (FTS) and supported unit personnel. Prepare for and participate in readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization, and support exercises.
Military Grades: Enlisted (E1 to E7)
Qualified candidates will have:
Skill in removing and replacing aircraft parts, accessories, and components, and making adjustments per specifications. Skilled in hand tools and test equipment.
Experience or training in installing, adjusting, troubleshooting, and testing mechanical and pneudraulic systems on aircraft during overhaul or modification. Experience coordinating work and scheduling maintenance.
