General Description

Support daily repair and manufacturing operations for incoming workload for C-5, C-17, C-130, F-15, J-STARS, RQ-4, Global Hawk, and other workload as required.

Duties
  1. Install, adjust, align, troubleshoot, and perform final functional and operational tests on various aircraft systems, assemblies, and components.
  2. Perform flight line maintenance, including functional testing, troubleshooting, and repairing airframe mechanical systems such as flight control systems, airframe, landing gear, engines, etc.
  3. Conduct post-assembly checkout, adjustment, and repair of overhauled and modified aircraft to prepare for and correct deficiencies found during functional check flights.
  4. Identify malfunctions and determine corrective actions required.
  5. Perform engine removal and installation, jacking, leveling, and other routine tasks.
  6. Read and interpret data from cockpit instrumentation and gauges.
  7. Initiate requisitions for parts and supplies as needed.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least four years of recent verifiable experience.
  • Knowledge of various parts, components, subsystems, and assemblies such as ejection seats, nuclear shielding, or similar systems.
  • Experience with standard and specialized tools and test equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand cockpit data and settings.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must pass post-offer, pre-employment drug testing.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform essential duties, including walking, climbing, crouching, lifting up to 50 pounds, reading gauges, and operating machinery. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.
