Zusammenfassung

AIM is seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join as instructors at our Fremont, CA campus. You will deliver FAA Part 147‑aligned instruction and mentor students pursuing A&P certification in hands‑on classroom and hangar environments.

No teaching experience is required; AIM offers a 5‑day paid instructor training. The role pays up to $42/hour with a $5,000 sign‑on, plus benefits including 401(k), health insurance, PTO and parental leave.

Qualifikationen

  • Education: HS Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
  • FAA A&P certification is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.

About the Role

As an Aircraft Maintenance Instructor (A&P Mechanic Instructor), you will deliver FAA Part 147-aligned aviation maintenance curriculum and provide hands-on instruction to students preparing for careers as aircraft maintenance technicians (AMTs).

This role is ideal for experienced A&P mechanics, aircraft mechanics, and aviation maintenance professionals who want to combine technical expertise with mentorship and training while delivering hands-on aviation maintenance instruction in classroom and active hangar environments.

Schedule Options:

Daytime Shift (2 Options)

  • Option 1: Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Evening Shift (Two Options):

  • Option 1: Monday–Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Fridays flexible, as needed)
  • Option 2: Monday–Thursday: 1:30 PM – 11:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach aircraft maintenance systems, procedures, and techniques in a hands-on environment
  • Deliver FAA-aligned curriculum to prepare students for A&P certification
