Job summary

Resicum International, LLC is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic III – Avionics to support MH-60R/S avionics maintenance at NAS Key West, Florida. You will perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, removal and installation of avionics systems, and interpret wiring diagrams and manuals.

Candidates must have direct hands-on MH-60R/S avionics experience, conduct organizational-level maintenance, and hold a DoD Secret clearance with a current U.S. Passport.

Job Description

Resicum International, LLC. is seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanic III – Avionics personnel to support MH-60R/S aircraft Organizational-Level Maintenance operations at NAS Key West, Florida.

Aircraft Mechanic III Avionics personnel perform advanced scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, removal and installation, testing, and modification of aircraft electrical and avionics systems.

Mechanic III personnel must be capable of troubleshooting complex avionics discrepancies, interpreting technical documentation, using authorized test equipment, and providing technical guidance to lower-level avionics mechanics.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on MH-60R/S avionics systems.
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repair, servicing, testing, and modifications.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and avionics discrepancies.
• Perform removal and installation of avionics components.
• Use aircraft-specific avionics test equipment.
• Interpret aircraft wiring diagrams, technical manuals, schematics, and technical publications.
• Troubleshoot electrical power and aircraft electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot communication, navigation, identification, electronic countermeasure, and weapons-control-related systems as assigned.
• Perform continuity, resistance, voltage, and other authorized electrical tests.
• Apply technical knowledge to isolate system and component malfunctions.
• Restore avionics systems and components to required operating condition.
• Support aircraft inspections.
• Make required aircraft logbook and maintenance record entries.
• Support Technical Directive Compliance.
• Support corrosion prevention and control.
• Support aircraft movement and flight-line operations.
• Support aircraft detachments as required.
• Support SAR maintenance operations when directed.
• Provide technical guidance to lower-level avionics mechanics.
• Inspect work performed by lower-level mechanics as authorized.
• Support CDI/CDQAR and applicable maintenance programs.
• Perform all work in accordance with applicable Navy maintenance procedures, technical manuals, technical directives, and local instructions.

Requirements

Specific MH-60R/S Experience — REQUIRED

• Must have direct hands-on aircraft avionics maintenance experience applicable to MH-60R/S aircraft.
• Must have experience performing Organizational-Level aircraft avionics maintenance.
• Must have experience troubleshooting aircraft electrical and avionics discrepancies.
• Must have experience interpreting aircraft wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical publications.
• Must have experience using aircraft avionics test equipment.
• Must have experience performing avionics component removal, installation, inspection, and testing.
• Must be capable of troubleshooting complex aircraft electrical and avionics problems.
• Generic avionics experience without applicable aircraft maintenance experience does not satisfy the specific experience requirement.

Additional Requirements

• Must possess a current U.S. Passport.
• Must possess and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be eligible for required site access and CAC issuance.
• Must possess aircraft avionics maintenance experience appropriate to the Mechanic III skill level.
• Must have extensive knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
• Must have experience troubleshooting aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
• Must have experience using aircraft-specific avionics test equipment.
• Must have experience interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Must be capable of troubleshooting complex avionics maintenance problems.
• Must be capable of prioritizing workload and meeting maintenance schedules.
• Must be capable of making accurate aircraft maintenance record entries.
• Must maintain required aircraft maintenance qualifications and certifications.
• Qualifications may include CDQAR, CDI, Plane Captain/Plane Handler, electrical/avionics-related qualifications, Ordnance, Forklift, and other qualifications applicable to assigned duties.
