Job description

OLH Technical Services, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic III.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain, repair, and modify aircraft structures, structural components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty.
  2. Maintain and repair aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
  3. Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and restoring equipment condition and operation.
  4. Provide professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufacturers' manuals.
  5. Utilize aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, rollers, grinders, drills, pneumatic squeezers, rivet guns, sheet metal brakes, and shears.
  6. Experience in reading and interpreting aviation drawings and manuals.

Position Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school, etc.).
  2. Experience in providing technical support to structural/mechanical engineers and customers.
  3. Excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet aircraft delivery schedules.
  4. Experience in providing guidance and technical expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts, specifically those related to sheet metal repairs and fabrication of sheet metal parts.
  5. Ability to measure and evaluate structural aircraft damage.
  6. Knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to layout, fabricate, repair, and assemble sheet metal.
  7. Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant license strongly preferred.
  8. Experience working with aviation sheet metal.
