Akima Technical Solutions (ATS) is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II to serve as a passback hangar quality control technical inspector for MH-60/MH-47/MH-6 aircraft. You will verify maintenance, document histories, and coordinate QA acceptance with government agencies.

You will read maintenance manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to determine repair methods, conduct inventories, and prepare MECs for complex repairs beyond standard publications.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain secret clearance.
• Minimum of 6 years in aircraft maintenance, preferably with at least two years on assigned MDS aircraft.
• Service school producing aircraft technical inspectors is desirable.
• Must be able to climb on/in/around aircraft, maintenance stands, and major components.
• Weight and balance certification is desirable.

• Submits aircraft historical records for government review upon completion of maintenance.
• Conducts post-maintenance and end-of-shift tool inventories.
• Produces Maintenance Engineering Calls (MECs) for submission to a Logistical Assistance Representative (LAR) for repairs beyond the limits specified in the technical publications.
• Tracks life-limited components in aircraft historical records.
