Aircraft Mechanic I supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on MH-60M rotary wing aircraft.

Responsibilities
  1. Adjust, repair, or replace components on aircraft during scheduled or unscheduled maintenance.
  2. Perform inspections, repairs, and document work in the electronic logbook/phase book.
  3. Conduct aircraft power-on checks, flight control rigging, and support post-maintenance flight line operations.
  4. Use hand tools, calibrated tools, and aircraft special tools.
  5. Wash, tear down, inspect, repair, and reassemble aircraft phases.
  6. Participate in aircraft towing operations.
Qualifications
  1. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  2. Able to obtain a Secret clearance.
  3. Own tools and toolbox.
  4. Minimum of 6 years in aircraft maintenance.
  5. Experience with ACN or similar electronic logbook systems.
  6. May need to pass a respirator physical for confined-space operations.
  7. Must pass a basic physical for aircraft movement or vehicle operation on the flight line.
  8. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  9. Ability to climb aircraft, use maintenance stands, and work around aircraft.
  10. Experience on MH-60Ms is preferred.
