Job summary

Erickson Inc. in Oregon is seeking qualified aircraft mechanics at multiple levels to maintain and fabricate aircraft parts and components in compliance with FAA, OEM, and Erickson Air-Crane requirements.

The role emphasizes reading manuals, performing disassembly, inspection, repair and documentation, with occasional travel to meet customer needs and maintain safety and SOP adherence.

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years level 1 - In aircraft maintenance and manufacturing.
  • 4-9 years level 2 - In aircraft maintenance and manufacturing.
  • 10+ years level 3 - In aircraft maintenance and manufacturing. Airframe and/or Powerplant license is a preferred qualification.
  • Note: Years of experience determines base level, but actual pay grade is set by knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, fabrication, maintenance, and assembly of aircraft and parts; document work per requirements.
  • Install aircraft parts and components to aircraft at fixed base and field environments.
  • Read, interpret, and comply with manuals, regulations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Document work per company and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies and address AOG situations; use tools and references accordingly.
  • Maintain precision measuring equipment, tools and test benches; travel as required.
  • Mentor, train and coach new employees when qualified.
  • Perform inspector duties in relevant task-qualified areas.
