Job summary

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance GmbH, based at Hahn Airport, Germany, is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance on Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The role involves installation and dismantling of components, adjustments to systems, and routine troubleshooting under supervision.

The successful candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant experience, a valid EU passport, English proficiency, and the ability to work shifts. A German security clearance is required. CVs should be in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of work on Boeing 737-800 (logbook proof required).
• Willingness to work shifts.
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken); German is an advantage.
• Valid EU passport with unrestricted right to live/work in the EU.
• Must have German Security Clearance per §7 of German Aviation Security regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install and dismantle system components as instructed.

• Carry out error search and troubleshooting under supervision.
• Record work accurately and submit CV in English.

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance GmbH is a German Company and one of the six Heavy Aircraft Maintenance bases of PAML Group. We carry out maintenance on Ryanair’s entire fleet of the New Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft at our hangar facility located atHahn Airport, Germany.

The Role and Responsibilities of an Aircraft Mechanic
The role includes the use of specialist IT applications such as AMOS, eLearning, and myboeingfleet, installation and dismantling of system components as instructed, making adjustments on aircraft systems, and performing scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance work on aircraft under supervision, as well as, as instructed, error search and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Previous work experience on Boeing 737-800 aircraft is required (Minimum of 3 to 5 years with proof – Logbook)
• Willingness to work shifts
• Valid EU Passport with the unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union
• Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills
• Valid EU driver’s license
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken); German is an advantage
• Must have a German Security Clearance in accordance with § 7 of German Aviation Security regulations
• CV must be submitted in English
• Date of Birth must also be on the CV
• Physical address on CV
