Job summary

ATP Flight School in Long Beach, CA seeks an Aircraft Mechanic (AMT) to maintain and repair single- and multi-engine piston aircraft. You will work on Cessna and Piper trainers, follow FAA regulations, and document maintenance records accurately.

We value safety, quality, and teamwork. Starting pay is $30 per hour with raises based on experience. Monday–Friday day shift; full-time role with benefits including health, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• A&P cert is required and FAA-licensed maintenance knowledge.
• 2+ years of piston-powered aircraft maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of FARs and manufacturer manuals; ability to document work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair single- and multi-engine piston aircraft per regulations and manuals.
• Document maintenance records, forms, logbooks, and computer entries accurately.
• Follow all policies, keep a clean, safe work environment, and perform duties safely.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
