A leading company in the aviation sector seeks an Aircraft Mechanic to support A&P Mechanics in repairing and maintaining aircraft. The role includes conducting inspections, troubleshooting, and performing modifications, requiring a high school diploma and experience in aircraft inspections and repairs. Ideal candidates have an Airframe or Powerplant license and a minimum of 5 years in the field, ensuring safety and quality in all mechanical duties.
Job Summary:
Assist Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanics to repair, maintain, overhaul and troubleshoot airframes, engine systems, parts and components. Fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal products and equipment. Assists with 100 hour and progressive inspections as well as modification and structural repair work on aircraft. May be required to assist lower grade mechanics.

Requires a minimum of 5 years experience performing inspections, repairs, structural modification, or composite modification of aircraft. Must successfully complete Aircraft Mechanic A-573 checklist prior to qualifying or hiring for Grade A. Should an employee acquire a full Airframe and Powerplant license the employee will be reclassified to A&P Mechanic-573 upon presentation of license.
