Flightstar Aircraft Services, LLC is seeking skilled aircraft maintenance technicians to identify, remove, and install components and perform engine servicing to ensure airworthiness per FAA standards.
Responsibilities include reading manuals, locating components, and performing repairs while adhering to safety rules and Flightstar SOPs. English proficiency and a valid driver's license are required; A&P certification is preferred and experience with ERP systems is beneficial.
Perform a basic to advanced level skilled work to identify, remove, and install aircraft components and to perform servicing of engines and aircraft accessories to ensure airworthiness according to customer specifications and FAA standards. Reads and complies with instructions and safety information as necessary for proper and safe completion of assigned work.

Previous Experience
Minimum 18 months of relevant experience providing knowledge of narrow and wide body airframe techniques, terminology, parts, etc, or completion of FAA approved A&P program.

Technical Skills
Basic computer skills to navigate Flightstar's ERP system, vending (POU), as well as research customer's maintenance manuals.

Required Skills
Lifts and carries hand tools, parts, and work materials; ascends and descends ladders and platforms; and frequently works in a variety of positions such as stooping, kneeling or squatting.

Personal Protective Equipment
Works safely and follow safety rules and regulations. Reports unsafe working conditions and behavior. Takes reasonable prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices. Adheres to Flightstar's SMS safety culture.
Safety glasses required. Prescription safety glasses required if applicable.
