Job summary

Precision Aviation Group in Texas is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repair on turbine rotorcraft, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with FAA, Part 145 and company procedures.

Candidates should hold a current A&P license, have 2+ years rotorcraft experience with Airbus/MD/Robinson/Bell preferred, and be able to work in a non-climate-controlled hangar, lift up to 75 pounds and travel/passport if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience with turbine rotorcraft.
• Experience with Airbus, MD, Robinson or Bell aircraft preferred.
• Understanding of Part 145 repair station operations.
• Current A&P license with verifiable experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR; passport may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair aircraft structures and related components including flight controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components.
• Apply technical knowledge of A&P systems to determine equipment malfunctions and restore aircraft to safe, airworthy condition.
• Maintain records in compliance with FAA and company requirements.
• Maintain the facility and equipment in serviceable and working condition; keep area clean and organized.
• Meet deadlines and communicate issues to supervisor; share job status and delays.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain and repair aircraft structures and related components including flight controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components.
• Apply technical knowledge of A&P systems to determine equipment malfunctions and applies expertise in restoring aircraft to safe, airworthy condition.
• Maintain records in compliance with FAA and company requirements.
• Maintain the facility in a clean and organized manner. Maintain equipment, tools in serviceable and working condition.
• Meet all deadlines, communicating to supervisor / manager when circumstances may prevent on-time completion. Assure proper information is shared: job status, shop issues, parts delays, etc.
• Ensure aircraft are safely maintained in accordance with the Airworthiness Standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, service/tech bulletins and standard practices.

Key Requirements Include:

• Min 2 yrs experience with turbine rotorcraft required
• Experience with Airbus, MD, Robinson or Bell aircraft strongly desired
• Understanding of and experience in a Part 145 repair station desired
• Current A&P license with verifiable experience required
• Valid Drivers' License and clean MVR required; passport may be required
• Ability to meet physical demands - non climate-controlled hangar facility subject to weather conditions, long periods of standing, bending, stooping to work in restricted spaces, routine lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
