Responsibilities

Position Summary

As the Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Technician, you will impact PSA Airlines' business growth by conducting aviation repairs and services that allow for operations to be on time. By executing maintenance procedures in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company standards, you ensure safe and reliable flights.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks necessary to comply with Federal Aviation Regulations and accept responsibility for work performed.
  • Keep work areas clean and return all equipment and tools to assigned areas.
  • Conduct all phases of repair and maintenance of aircraft using own tools and company-provided equipment.
  • In certain cases, may be authorized to perform required inspection items and assist in training programs.
  • Initiate proper documentation at the commencement of each repair or inspection.
  • Verify, through proper documentation, that any part installed is approved and free of damage.
  • Maintain hangar workshops and other assigned areas in an orderly manner.
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Position Specifics

Qualifications

Required

  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid, state-issued Driver's License.
  • Capable of using respirators and personal protective equipment.
  • Must possess or have ability to obtain a U.S. Passport within 90 days of starting.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Must demonstrate authorization to work in the US.

Preferred

  • Previous experience with CRJs.

Additional Information

Work Environment: This job operates inside a climate-controlled building. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Physical Demands: The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift up to 25 lbs, and reach with hands and arms. Security Clearance: All employees must pass a fingerprint-based criminal history records check.
