Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a Storekeeper to support maintenance bases and line operations. You will receive, issue, package, and stock supplies, operate forklifts, and maintain accurate inventories in a dynamic aviation environment.

The role requires English fluency, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work various shifts in a 24/7 operation. Training and safety programs are provided, with a starting hourly rate of $26.35.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or education equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid state issued driver's license and have an acceptable driving record.
• Must be flexible to work any shift in a 24/7 operation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Reliable, punctual attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Receives, issues, provisions, checks and inventories supplies and materials.
• Opens, packages and seals boxes and crates.
• Work may be indoors or outdoors with exposure to weather, noise, fumes and machinery.
• Perform duties requiring climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Heavy lifting and movement of equipment and materials.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed.
• Prepare labels and ticketing documents for items.
• Read and interpret instructions to assemble kits for aircraft orders.
• Maintain orderly and safe work areas and follow procedures.
