Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical or aerospace preferred.
• Minimum experience: 2 yrs.
• Proven ability to lead manufacturability reviews (DFM/DFA) for detail parts, assemblies, and installations.
• Experience with design-to-manufacture for aircraft interiors and paint processes.
• Proficient in 2D/3D drawing reviews and approvals to ensure manufacturability.
• Experience with CATIA V5/V6 is a plus; CAD proficiency mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and cost/quality/schedule tradeoffs.
• Familiarity with sprint/project management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of production process definition and implementation for assigned A/C area(s)
• Identify and approve tooling required for assigned A/C area(s); create Tooling Requests; perform Root Cause Analysis on tooling non-conformances
• Review and approve Engineering drawings and models for manufacturability
• Review major Engineering/router changes with shop floor at the start of the position
• Create/ revise Installation Build Plans for new/revised Engineering for assigned A/C areas
• Manage all Design for Manufacturability Requests for assigned A/C area(s)
• Review and approve all Change Requests affecting Production with cross-department coordination
