Job description

This is a SkillBridge opportunity available for Transitioning Service Members ONLY! This is NOT a Direct Hire Position.


Overview

Omni Aircraft Maintenance is looking for fixed wing aircraft mechanics to join our maintenance team in Tulsa, OK!

On the job, comprehensive training with respect to electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems for troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance to all aircraft & shop equipment.

The Skill Bridge Program will be up to a 180-day internship but may be less if needed.

Throughout the program, the intern will be assessed on his basic knowledge and skill sets of the position and how he learns and grows at the job. The intern will also be assessed on his ability to be on time and his motivation to complete daily tasks.

All Skill Bridge applicants will be subject to an Omni Aircraft Maintenance pre-employment background check prior to starting the program.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with the supervisors, lead technician, and other mechanics to learn what it takes to be a successful aircraft maintenance technician at Omni.

All Omni Skillbridge participants will be assessed throughout the program and given feedback. Skillbridge participants who successfully complete our skillbridge internship will be considered for a full-time aircraft maintenance mechanic position at Omni Aircraft Maintenance.
