FULL-TIME Opportunity in Natchez, MS

  • Starting Salary: $62,705 - $91,455 annually
  • IA Stipend: $2,080
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Air Evac Lifeteam. This technician will support our airframe, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality transportation services, care, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular updates to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks, update equipment logs, request replacements, and document part expenditures.
  • Accurately document service paperwork and FAA information, adhering to policies and security standards.
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment for the maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Coordinate efforts between departments, vendors, and team members using appropriate communication methods.
  • Collaborate professionally with health and safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and operations staff.
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Two (2) years turbine-powered helicopter experience
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Valid State Driver’s License
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance records, and planning
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and on-call rotations
  • Compliance with FAA drug and alcohol testing requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
  • Experience under CFR Part 135
  • Autopilot maintenance experience
  • Avionics and electrical repair skills
  • Experience with AS350, Bell 206, Bell 407, EC130, EC135
