Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! A&P Mechanic - Rotor Wing FULL-TIME Opportunity in Yuma, AZ

  • Starting Salary: $62,705 - $91,455 annually
  • 14% Geo-Modifier
  • IA Stipend: $2,080
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

We're hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Med-Trans. This technician will be qualified to support our AS350 and EC130 airframes. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely, high-quality transportation services, care, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
  2. Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary, and document part expenditures.
  3. Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required, adhering to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
  4. Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  5. Use appropriate communication methods to facilitate coordination between departments, vendors, and team members.
  6. Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow AMTs and the operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience, including at least six months of helicopter maintenance in the last 24 months.
  • Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience with AS350 and EC130 maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Ability to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certification.
  • Experience under CFR Part 135.
  • Autopilot maintenance experience.
  • Experience with avionics and electrical repair.
