Job summary

SkyWest Airlines in Fresno, CA seeks a maintenance associate to support aircraft upkeep and safety. Responsibilities include understanding the GMM, keeping the shop clean and organized, and ensuring tools are safe and ready.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read/write English, and willingness to work four 10-hour shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed. This is a full-time position on the 206 Crew night shift with starting pay of $18.31 per hour and benefits including 401(k),

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid, state-issued unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English is required.
• Mechanical experience and/or aptitude are required.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment is required.
• Willingness to work any assigned shift, including four 10-hour shifts, is required; specific days will be determined based on operational needs
• Availability to work weekend shifts, as needed is required

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM)
• Maintain the assigned shop work area in a clean, orderly, and hazard-free condition
• Ensure tools and support equipment are kept clean, safe, and operational at all times
• Wear required eye and hearing protection as necessary when using tools or operating machinery to ensure personal safety
• Be available to work any assigned shift and overtime as needed
