Job summary

Turbo Air Inc. is seeking an A&P Technician for our Boise, ID location to perform airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs in compliance with FAA regulations. The role includes conducting major and minor alterations, routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintaining a safe, clean workstation for customers.

The ideal candidate holds a valid FAA A&P certificate, has a two-year aviation degree, and meets U.S. employment and background screening requirements.

Qualifications

• Current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Two year degree in aviation discipline.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or naturalized.
• Must pass a DOT/FAA Pre-employment Drug Screen.
• Must clear a 10 year background check with no felonies.

Responsibilities

• Performs airframe, power plant and propeller repairs and modifications to meet FAA requirements.
• Perform Major and Minor alterations and repairs.
• Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting.
• Operates power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment.
• Maintains awareness of hourly goals for tasks assigned.
• Presents a clean and neat work area to customers.
• Performs other duties as may be required.
