Job summary

Breeze Airways is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician at Charleston International Airport (CHS). The AMT will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, run-up and sign-offs on Breeze aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and Breeze procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, valid FAA A&P license with no infractions and recent experience on commercial aircraft types.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications.
• Must have a valid driver's license and passport with no travel restrictions.
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and TSA background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, and alterations of Breeze aircraft per the GMM and FAA regulations.
• Troubleshoot, run-up, taxi procedures, and sign mechanical flight releases.
• Complete Breeze forms and document discrepancies and corrective actions accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and properly manage tools and parts.
• Notify Maintenance Supervisor of any airworthiness concerns and ensure documentation is current.

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician reports to a Line Maintenance Supervisor and carries out instructions as assigned in accordance with FAA regulations and Breeze policy and procedures.
