Global Medical Response in Grand Forks, ND is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice to support the AMT team in maintaining our fleet and ensuring safe, reliable patient transport.

This full-time opening offers hands-on learning, exposure to turbine-powered aircraft, and opportunities to advance within Guardian Flight. A&P license or progression toward one is required, with compliance to FAA regulations and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • FAA Regulations knowledge is required.
  • EMS Systems and aircraft maintenance systems knowledge is preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and push/pull 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technicians with maintenance services including inspections, screening and repairs.
  • Assist with inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use effective communication to coordinate with departments, vendors and team members.
  • Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and the operations team.

Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice (AMT)

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice FULL-TIME Opportunity in Grand Forks, ND

  • Starting Salary: $41,600 - $58,240/annually

We're hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice to assist the AMTs withresponsibility for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Guardian Flight. This is a key role toensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Apprentice will assist licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) while they are performing maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, and repairs.
  • Assist with inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment
  • Assist with document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
  • Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license or willing to obtain within 36 months
  • Valid State issued Driver's license
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
  • EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
  • Ability to work aflexible scheduleincluding overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience
  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
  • Related experience under 14 CFR Part 135
  • Autopilot maintenance experience
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience
