Guardian Flight in Grand Forks, ND is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice (AMT) for a full-time role. The program supports development toward an A&P license with hands-on maintenance, inspection support, and safety of our fleet to deliver timely air medical transport.

Starting salary ranges from $41,600 to $58,240 annually, with overtime, on-call rotations, and opportunities to gain FAA-compliant experience in EMS and aircraft systems.

Qualifications

• A&P license or willingness to obtain within 36 months
• Valid State Driver's license
• High School diploma or GED
• FAA knowledge
• EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance planning
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations
• Must be acceptable in accordance with FAA drug and alcohol testing program
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed AMT during maintenance, inspections, screening and repairs
• Assist with inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment
• Assist with service paperwork and FAA information and adhere to policies and procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew
• Communicate to coordinate efforts between departments, vendors and team members
• Collaborate with allied health, public safety personnel, AMTs and operations team

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice FULL-TIME Opportunity in Grand Forks, ND

• Starting Salary: $41,600 - $58,240/annually

We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice to assist the AMTs withresponsibility for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Guardian Flight. This is a key role toensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Apprentice will assist licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) while they are performing maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, and repairs.
• Assist with inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment
• Assist with document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license or willing to obtain within 36 months
• Valid State issued Driver's license
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
• EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
• Ability to work aflexible scheduleincluding overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience
• FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
• Related experience under 14 CFR Part 135
• Autopilot maintenance experience
• Avionics and electrical repair experience
