Job summary

Flightcheck Commercial Aviation in Chicago, IL, is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician – A&P Mechanic to perform line maintenance per FARs and customer procedures. Responsibilities include troubleshooting engines, landing gear, hydraulics, airframes, electrical systems and oxygen systems, reading manuals, and ensuring airworthiness.

Offering pay from $33-$47 per hour based on experience, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with match, 80 hours PTO, flexible schedules,

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand English and interpret technical data and operating instructions.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with Flightcheck’s standards, FARs, and customer procedures.
• Accomplish maintenance to ensure airworthiness and safety.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals and documents to complete work.
• Travel as needed.
• Maintain customer service-focused approach.
