Description
We are seeking a passionate, self-motivated Associate Aircraft Technician for Hawker 4000 aircraft based in the KC area, supporting Part 135 and 91 operations. The role involves troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of aircraft, ensuring compliance with Federal Air Regulations (FARs) and manufacturer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform, oversee, and document scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft and support equipment.
- Conduct inspections using precision instruments to assess parts for wear and use.
- Ensure tool calibration requirements are met, and document inspections and calibrations with Priester Maintenance Control.
- Travel to support aircraft in AOG situations or coordinate repairs via outside vendors. Occasional travel on owner aircraft for test flights or troubleshooting. Coordinate aircraft release with Maintenance Control.
- Perform receiving inspection on incoming parts and components.
- Maintain safety, security, and quality standards through adherence to the Safety Management System (SMS) and report any issues or recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards related to aircraft maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
- Travel as needed, estimated at 30%.
Qualifications:
- FAA A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) certificate.
- Associate degree or higher in Aviation Technology or related field.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a US passport.
- Strong knowledge of job-specific skills, communication, and listening skills.
- High commitment to team and company values, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to pass background screening and DOT drug testing.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in hangar or ramp settings, with travel between facilities. Involves occasional evenings and weekends, with a typical schedule of 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Accommodations available for disabilities. Employment contingent on background, social media checks, and drug screening.
Compensation Package:
- Eligible for a 15-20% bonus target.
- Relocation assistance negotiable, with qualified move allowances coordinated with the Controller.
