Summary

HSGI, Inc. has IMMEDIATE openings for Airframe & Powerplant Mechanics!

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Crew Chief for task assignments and is responsible for the timely and efficient completion of all duties. Responsibilities include maintenance, inspection, servicing, lubrication, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and fueling operations.

Experience with aircraft such as Dassault Falcon Jet, Gulfstream, Citation, Bombardier, Lear Jet, Challenger, Global Express, Hawker Beechcraft, Embraer, etc., is a plus and may lead to immediate hire.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems and structures with minimal supervision.
• Communicate effectively to receive and understand work assignments.
• Complete complex inspections, repairs, and modifications.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with FAA and internal standards.
• Accurately complete work orders and documentation.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• FAA Mechanics Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant Ratings.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts, and schematics.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• No allergies to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, or cleaning solvents.
• Ability to work and bend in confined spaces.
• Manual dexterity for technical work.
• Ability to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stairs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with aircraft software and computer systems.
• Completion of at least one maintenance school.
• Engine Run and Taxi qualification on business jet aircraft, especially Dassault Falcon Jet, Gulfstream, Citation, Bombardier, Lear Jet, Challenger, Global Express, Hawker Beechcraft, Embraer, etc.
