Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on company aircraft. This role will report directly to the Chief of Maintenance, Aviation. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about aviation and aircraft maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and inspections on aircraft to ensure they meet safety and performance standards with general supervision.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in aircraft systems.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Escalate more complex issues to higher level staff.
• Maintains aircraft standards as required by Federal Aviation Administration.
• Conduct functional tests on aircraft systems and components to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Identify hazardous aircraft conditions and determine when aircraft should not be flown.
• Collaborate with the Chief of Maintenance, Aviation and other team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices in aircraft maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• 10 years of experience actively performing duties as an aircraft maintenance technician
• FAA approved Airframe and Powerplant License.
