Job summary

West Star Aviation seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician at our Dallas, TX facility. You’ll perform mechanical tasks, troubleshoot systems, remove/install engines and components, and support inspections on sophisticated civilian aircraft.

This full-time, on-site role requires a High school diploma and Airframe and Powerplant license, with driver’s license or passport ideal. Benefits start day one, including medical, dental, 401K, time off, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Airframe and Powerplant License is required.
• A valid driver’s license and/or passport are ideal.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve aircraft system/component issues.
• De-fueling aircraft.
• Engine removal/installations.
• Operate ground support equipment.
• Inspect and evaluate the aircraft and components.
• Move aircraft and assist in performance runs/taxiing.
