Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Technicians at multiple levels (AMT I–IV) to work on sophisticated civilian aircraft. Candidates should hold appropriate Airframe and/or Powerplant licenses and have relevant aviation maintenance experience.

The role emphasizes adherence to FAA guidelines, teamwork, and ongoing personal growth in a fast-paced hangar environment. Expect diverse tasks from inspection to engine work with strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe preferred for AMT I–II.
• AMT I: 0–2 years in aviation maintenance or related fields; close supervision.
• AMT II: 2–4 years in aviation maintenance; some supervision needed.
• AMT III: 4–6+ years in aviation maintenance; full knowledge of general, detailed, and special tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and solve aircraft system issues.
• Assist with engine removal/installation and related maintenance.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tools.
