Job summary

GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is recruiting Aircraft Maintenance Mechanics for Avmax in Great Falls, MT. The role involves performing high-quality maintenance, repairs, and modifications on a variety of aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience, reads blueprints and diagrams, and can work independently or on a team. Tools are required and schedule may include nights, weekends, and overtime.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certificate strongly preferred or willingness to obtain.
• 2–5 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience on commercial/regional/corporate aircraft.
• Ability to read maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime if required.
• Must provide your own basic set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance including inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications.
• Conduct repairs on airframe structures, engines, hydraulics, landing gear, and electrical/avionics systems as required.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company policies.
• Document all maintenance tasks accurately in aircraft logbooks and company systems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
• Collaborate with quality inspectors, engineers, and other maintenance personnel to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in AOG (Aircraft on Ground) recovery operations as needed.
• Adhere to strict safety and compliance standards.
