Job summary

Sun Country Airlines is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to ensure the ongoing airworthiness of the fleet at the Dallas, TX hangar. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and completing accurate maintenance documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will hold an A&P license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass a background check and drug screening. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A&P license required.
• Criminal history background check and pre-employment drug test required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft to Sun Country Airlines standards.
• Complete maintenance paperwork accurately.
• Enter log items, NRTCs, and task cards into TRAX.
• Identify and report problems impacting maintenance operations.
• Communicate with Maintenance Station Supervisor during procedures.
• Maintain an up-to-date OJT file.
• Assist with training of newly hired personnel.
• Maintain housekeeping of maintenance facilities as required.
• Move and park aircraft and ground equipment as needed.
• Comply with all safety, health, regulatory, and company policies.
